The History of the Resort
The Guanico Beach Resort in Playa Guanico, Panama, is a prominent surf and vacation destination on the Azure Peninsula, known for its consistent waves and tranquil setting. Established over twelve years ago, we have integrated harmoniously into the local culture and are considered one of the top international destinations for surfing, relaxing, exploring and finding your "estilo relajado" which translates for us as a relaxed, natural and “effortless” state, that we appreciate here in Panama.
Our resort offers a variety of accommodations, including rooms with private balconies, a yoga/meditation room, and an outdoor yoga platform connected to the pool and lounge area.
In addition to accommodations, the resort provides over 30 surfboards and 12 competition grade SUPs, as well as surf lessons designed to enhance surfing skills, and yoga sessions designed to help you stretch and relax.
In addition to surfing, our visitors often enjoy activities including: horseback riding, mangrove SUP tours, guided fishing trips and local cultural celebrations.
Our on-site restaurants serve gourmet meals prepared fresh daily by our renowned chef who uses locally sourced ingredients. The day’s offerings always begin with a complimentary breakfast for everyone staying with us.
