Guanico Beach Resort – Booking Policies

1. Booking Terms and Conditions

Your payment will confirm the acceptance of the following terms and conditions

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Guanico Beach Resort, availability is limited and in high demand. All payments and deposits are non-refundable.
- No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for early check-outs.
- No refunds will be issued for reasons related to weather, ocean, or surf conditions.
- No refunds will be issued for political or social situations at the local, national, or global level unless such events directly create a security risk that prevents safe operation of the resort.
- We reserve the right to release and resell your reservation if full payment is not received 90 days prior to your arrival date.
For your protection, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

3. Payment Terms

- Full payment is required no later than 90 days before the first day of your reservation.
- Reservations made within 60 days of arrival typically require full payment at the time of booking.
- If payment deadlines are not met, your reservation and any deposits paid will be forfeited.
- Late payments may incur a $100 USD late fee per person.
- Guanico Beach Resort reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking.
- You may transfer your reservation to another guest or sell it privately up to 90 days before arrival.

4. Family or Medical Emergencies

While all payments remain non-refundable, at our discretion, we may offer a one-time date change to specific weeks in November or March.
- Changes are subject to an additional fee and must be confirmed by the date of your original reservation.
- Emergency date changes will not be moved to the same week in the following year.
- You may transfer your booking to another guest to retain any repeat-guest ('grandfather') privileges.
Travel insurance is strongly advised to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

5. Guest Conduct & Compliance

A paid reservation constitutes an agreement to follow all Guanico Beach Resort policies and staff instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests.
We reserve the right to remove any guest—without refund—for behavior including but not limited to:
- Theft, vandalism, or property damage
- Lewd acts or sexual misconduct
- Excessive alcohol or drug use
- Violence, harassment, or combative behavior
- Any other act deemed unsafe or inappropriate by management
Removal may include restriction from all resort areas, surrounding beaches, and waterways used by the resort.
