Panama's Carnival is held nationwide, but the most famous and traditional celebrations are in Las Tablas (Azuero Peninsula) with its intense street rivalry, and in Panama City along the Cinta Costera (Avenida Balboa) for large parades with floats and queens. Other popular locations include Chitré, Penonomé, and Santiago, all offering lively parades, music, and water-soaked fun.
