Breakfast – Sunrise Starts Fresh

Mornings at Guanico begin with the scent of coffee, ocean air, and tropical fruit. Our breakfast is fresh, energizing, and simple in all the right ways. Enjoy farm-fresh eggs, locally grown fruits like mango, papaya, and pineapple, and homemade breads and jams. You’ll also find Panamanian-style rice and beans, sweet plantains, and occasional specials like veggie omelets or banana pancakes.

Wash it down with freshly squeezed juice, hand-blended smoothies, or a strong cup of local coffee—and you’re set for the waves.

Lunch – Light, Local, and Laid-Back

After a morning in the surf or a stretch in the hammock, lunch is all about fresh, satisfying fuel. Choose from grilled fish tacos, colorful salads with local greens and vegetables, or a hearty rice bowl with free-range chicken or seared tuna.

We keep it light but flavorful—think coconut rice, avocado, lime, and local herbs. Pair it with a cold smoothie, a local beer, or a fresh passionfruit juice and head back out feeling nourished, not stuffed.

Dinner – Wood-Fired & Ocean-Inspired

Evenings are slow and savory here. At our onsite Palmeras Restaurant the centerpiece is often handcrafted wood-fired pizza—thin crust, bubbling cheese, and seasonal toppings like marinated veggies, locally cured meats, or fresh basil from the garden.

We also serve grilled catch-of-the-day, caught just offshore and prepared simply—maybe with garlic, lime, and sea salt—or transformed into sushi rolls and poke bowls that taste as vibrant as the day feels. For meat lovers, our free-range pork and grass-fed beef are grilled to perfection, served with local root veggies or roasted plantains.

Dinners are shared, unhurried, and best finished with a homemade dessert and a drink under the stars.

Every ingredient has a story here—grown nearby, caught with care, or made by hand. It’s not just food—it’s part of the Guanico experience: fresh, honest, and full of flavor.

Whether you’re toasting the sunset, cooling down after a surf session, or just lingering by the pool with a good book, our bar has something to match the moment.

We serve up a mix of locally inspired craft cocktails, classic favorites, and laid-back sips made to be enjoyed slowly. Think mojitos muddled with fresh garden mint, tamarind margaritas, rum punch with local fruit juice, and our signature pineapple-ginger caipirinha. Everything is made to order, with fresh-squeezed ingredients and a whole lot of tropical flavor.

Prefer something lighter? We’ve got cold local beers, a curated selection of wines, and a full bar if you want your favorite pour just the way you like it.

For our alcohol-free guests, we take just as much care: enjoy freshly pressed juices, handmade smoothies, and a rotating menu of zero-proof “mocktails” that are just as creative and refreshing—try the cucumber-lime cooler or our coconut hibiscus fizz.
